Quick FAQS:

• Each student who participates and turns in a completed reading log will receive a prize from the PTA (no donation collection needed).

• Ms. Paik, our wonderful librarian, is hosting a Read-A-Thon BINGO! Students who participate and complete five boxes in a row on their Bingo card can turn it in to Ms. Paik in the Media Center for a prize. 

• For those who choose to raise money with the Read-A-Thon, we accept online, cash, and check donations. Checks should be made out to RVES PTA or Rock View ES PTA. Please fill out this online donation page request form if you would like to solicit donations online.

• Everything you need to know about how the Read-A-Thon works can be found in the Read-A-Thon packet. See below for Key Dates and Resource Links.

• After reviewing the packet, if you have any additional questions, you may reach out to our VP of Fundraising, Mai Lien Le, at fundraising@rvespta.org. 

Key Dates:

• Monday, 10/27 - Read-A-Thon Begins

• Sunday, 11/9 - Read-A-Thon Ends

• 11/10 - 11/19 - Donation collection window

• Monday, 11/17 - Deadline to turn in Reading Logs for online donations

• Thursday, 11/20 - Deadline to turn in donations and reading logs to be eligible for Read-A-Thon prizes

• Monday, 12/3 - Read-A-Thon winners will be announced by this date (or earlier)
